After completing undergraduate degrees at Spokane Falls Community College and Eastern Washington University as a first generation college graduate, Dr. Jameson Lontz earned a Master’s degree in psychology from Gonzaga University and a Ph.D. in psychology from Michigan State University. Dr. Lontz is a culturally competent generalist with work experience in university and community college teaching, assessment (testing) in forensics and neuropsychology, therapy (counseling) as a generalist as well as in rehabilitation psychology, pain management, and healthy living, and related research.
Karen is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Northwest University. Karen provides evidence-based therapies (counseling) including Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy. She is also an EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Level 1 trained therapist. Karen has many years of experience working in a variety of settings including a partial hospitalization facility, community and private clinics, and as a school-based clinician. Karen’s primary goal as a therapist is to help people access what they need for healing while providing support in their process of change.
Dawn is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Eastern Washington University. Assisting individuals, families, and couples in gaining greater awareness of themselves and interactions within interpersonal relationships are the main goals in her therapy (counseling) sessions. Cognitive-Behavioral techniques, Mindfulness training, and Art Therapy activities are just some of the modalities utilized during Dawn’s counseling sessions. Dawn also works closely with Dr. Lontz to administer neuropsychological tests as needed.
Sarah joined Blue Mountain Psychologyas an office assistant in 2016. She is the primary contact person for scheduling, and can also help with any other questions. Sarah was born and raised in Spokane. She is happily married with three children. Sarah loves spending time with family and friends, and attending various activities with her children. In her free time, she loves to read, sew, and be outdoors.
Hannah joined Blue Mountain Psychologyas an office assistant in 2022. Hannah completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, with a Minor in Economics, during Spring 2021. Hannah was born and raised in Spokane. She enjoys a variety of hobbies including reading, long distance running, hiking with her boyfriend and their dog, creating her own embroidery designs, and gardening.
